Named for the chapel constructed here in the 4th century, on the property of a Christian woman named Lucina, this Piazza is not only beautiful, but a place of great historical value. Archeological excavations underneath the church brought to light the remains of a Roman house, and also a chamber which appears to be a primitive place of worship. In one of the rooms there is a fragment of the Horologium Augusti. This sundial, dating from 10 BC, consisted of a large piazza paved in travertine on which the lines and writing on the dial were marked out in bronze. Today the Piazza is a popular meeting place for old and young people alike, and boasts such delights as wondeful cafes, like Teichner, just downstairs from your apartment. A 2nd floor view allows for lots of natural light, with double paned windows to keep out any noise. This large studio is ideal for a group of 2 to 4 people, and fully self catering. With extras like a/c, satellite tv, net access (available in building, on request), and a plasma screen tv, Agrippa is truly an apartment that delivers it all.
Comprised of:
Large studio with double sofa bed and double bed, with kitchenette corner
Bathroom with shower
About 38 square meters.

Hi Sonia..It was so wonderful meeting you on our trip to Rome..you have been the most helpful person I have ever encountered in regards to arranging accommodation..The apartment ”Agrippa “was exactly as you described it only it was better in that the atmosphere and fun we had staying there will live in our hearts forever..All the information you sent to me regarding “what to do Rome” was so valuable and I printed out the emails and saw the unusual and wonderful places you suggested..your directions were amazing…Also the Restaurant you arranged for myself and my partner to go to for my birthday,” Il Baccaro”, was incredible..wonderful food, and even a birthday desert was given compliments of the owner.. The owners of the Agrippa apartment near the Spanish Steps couldn’t do enough for us..it was like staying in a top hotel, with a concierge who cared....the room was made up every day and bathroom cleaned..The room is double glazed and is so large and spacious..the bed and many pillows were fantastic..also the air conditioning is very good too.. We can’t wait to stay in that apartment on our next visit to Rome..Sonia..you are a gem!!
