For the most part, the Emanuale apartment was spacious, comfortable and very functional for our stay in Rome. Corey, the rental manager was incredibly responsive and helpful, especially when we had a sewer/plumbing leak in the bath room on our second day. Corey was on top of the situation as best as he could given the circumstances. His restaurant recommendations were also terrific! We were very happy here except for the water issue noted below.
We are very experienced travelers and consider our expectations/ standards to be pretty forgiving. We can only say, we stayed in many old and wonderful rooms while we toured Italy and had little trouble adapting --except at Emanuele.
We pondered even giving a negative comment, because this place has a lot to offer. We felt the shower problem was severe enough that it would be the single and ONLY reason we would choose not to return to the apartment.
It is a shame, because there is a lot right here and it is a very good value if the basics were met.
