Apartment description
Via di Pietra, one of the coziest little streets to cross the city center, and your apartment is right there!
The newly refurbished apartment is composed of a double bedroom in white colours and olive wood original parquet with its own ensuite bathroom with bath. A small kitchen completely equipped has been repeinted in modern colour and is the place where you can cook your italian meal. The spacious living room with double sofa bed has a wonderful ancient wood table as well as wood ceiling, a caracteristic of ancient building in Rome. At your disposal a second bathroom with bath. The apartment offers you the Wi-Fi free connection service.
The street where this historic building is located leads you to the awsome Piazza di Pietra: here the Chamber of commerce has his prestigious seat. This was in fact the ancient Hadrianeum, the temple built in honor of Emperor Hadrian. Still clearly visible are the 11 Corinthian columns of white marble, belonging to the right side of the old building, about 15 meters high and 1.44 m in diameter, resting on a peperino podium about 4 meters high.
Just a few steps away is the Pantheon, one of the most important architectural masterpieces of the Roman Emperors, and Piazza Navona are there to be discovered. In the other direction just cross Via del Corso -one of the most important shopping streets of the city- and you will see Fontana di Trevi and Piazza di Spagna.

Very spacious apartment with two bathrooms. Superb location. The front door of the apartment building opens on to a narrow street with restaurants, very close to a lovely square - the perfect spot for a delicious morning coffee and pastry in a coffee shop recommended by the 'Rough Guide' to Rome. A few minutes stroll from the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. It's very easy to get lost in the narrow winding streets (no matter how good your map reading skills might be), but that's part of the fun of being in Rome!
The apartment is a little dark - but that is to be expected in an old building in narrow streets.
